Graduation Day

Going for my rip-off convocation tomorrow. Didn't want to go initially coz of the rip-off charges, but my parents insisted. RM380 gone just like that. Who the hell charges RM95 per guest only for them to sit and watch the whole ceremony and have 'light refreshments' at 4.30pm??? Well, apparently APIIT does. Blardi hell, I might as well use that money to treat my parents to Jogoya...eat all you can AND I'll still have change after that.

Sigh....

Anyway, I was asked a few times what are my favourite flowers (most probably coz I think it's sorta a tradition to give flowers on a person's graduation day). And I realised that I didn't have one. Maybe African Daisies comes close, but I wouldn't exactly call it a favourite. I know for sure I don't like Tiger Lilies. Reminds me of big stuck-up, ostentatious 'tai tais'. African Daisies are more like fun-loving wild childs; carefree and friendly. :)

So if you really wanna get me flowers, I would prefer African Daisies. But I would actually really really love a wide angle camera... :D

Going out now to some steamboat buffet place in Sunway Mentari called RNC Seafood Steamboat where apparently, they serve cheese soup...yummy!

Depression setting in...

Just finished my Final Year Project presentation.

It was NOT good.

My advisor made me feel so stupid.

"Why did you do it like that?"
"I hope you documented that..."
"What if the user doen't know which stop he's at? This doesn't seem very user friendly to me."
"You are supposed to use an algorithm to prove that you are a Software Engineering student!"
"This is a Final Year Project! You should have explored that topic further!"

....and the list goes on.....

Damnit.

Holidays...*sigh*

Holidays are only holidays if you are not stuck at home for more than 70% of its duration...like I am right now....sigh...I seriously have no idea what to do. Langkawi trip is end of next week, and I don't know how to occupy myself till then!!!

Thought bout looking for a job, but hey, who looks for a job on their holiday???!!! *scratches that off the list (for now anyway...)*

So, next up, catch up on all my TV series (which also means that I'll still be stuck at home). Oh wait, I just finished that last night (with the exception of Heroes of course, since CincauAaron gave me House instead of Heroes...but no biggie, finished House anyway...). *scratches that off the list as well*

Shopping? Sorry, bank account dwindling already. Been swiping the card like mad... -_-'' *scratch scratch*

But at least I'm meeting Mun tomorrow night and Wawa next week...Haven't been catching up with them for ages!!! *hearts*

P.S. Oh shit...I just remembered that I have to prepare slides for my Final Year Project presentation tomorrow!!! Wonderful holiday right? *dripping sarcasm*

I'm FREEE!!!!!

Final exams are over!!! Finally!!! I blardi better not fail Design Patterns...don't wanna see APIIT exam hall ever again! Stupid paper is 100% exam based some more...no assignment to help boost up my grades...boo hoo!!! Came home feeling exhausted and crashed on the sofa. Woke up, didn't know what to do now that I didn't have to study anymore, so I went back to sleep....which explains why I'm still up at this hour... :s

Oh, the puppies are here!!! They were born on the 1st of November, right when I was at the Nuffnang Halloween Party. Dang it! Missed all the action. SissyDear was there to be the midwife. They are so adorable!!! 3 boys and a girl. Will post pictures and info bout them soon. Right now I need some 'relax' time. *plans what to do for the rest of the week*

I think I'm gonna go catch up on all the movies I've missed so far...*reaches for the Hancock DVD that has been sitting on the bedside table for ages* (and don't ask me why it's right there on my bedside table... :s)

Okay, my damn FYP is finally finished and handed in! Lots of drama in the process and sleepless nights, but now I can finally breathe a sigh of relief...I guess the one sorta good thing that came out of it was I lost 2kgs in 5 days! Of course la, so stressed and tired until no appetite to eat...everyday just drink 1 cup of Milo for brekkie and eat like 2 tablespoons of rice for dinner, Kate Moss would be proud of me man...

But guess what? I'm putting it all back on!!! It's like after handing the whole project to the admin lady and signing the form, my appetite miraculously came back! Went to McD's for dinner and wolfed down a double cheeseburger with lots of fries and coke... -_-'' And for the next few days, the catching up process was in full drive...catch up on sleep, catch up on TV, and most teruk-ly, catch up on food...*wail!!!*

Oh ya, you must be wondering bout the title of this post rite? Sorry, got carried away...back to the topic...

So as the title says, I have puppies for sale!!! Pure-bred Miniature Schnauzers! Not sure how many yet, coz they're not born yet...hehehe...due date is soon, should be one of these days, not more than a week more.

The parents are all Malaysia Kennel Association (MKA) certified, pampered house pooches, vaccinated and very healthy. The puppies will be microchipped, vaccinated and come with MKA cert as well. Tail docking will be optional. More details will be provided when the puppies arrive. Till then, let me know if you are interested!

But please, only responsible and loving pet owners need apply. You must be willing and able to give lots of love and attention to your dog. I will not, I repeat, WILL NOT hand puppies over to people who I deem will be unfit owners!!!

"Are you clear?"

Dear readers, today's post will be dedicated to that special someone in my college, my lecturer whom we shall refer to as "Are you clear?" (or AYC for short). So guess what she did today that warranted me writing this post? Okay, here's the story...

Assignment submission was yesterday, and AYC said that whoever could not present yesterday could do so today...Just go up to the lecturer's area, give her a call and she will come out for your presentation. No prior appointments needed. Okay....so after finishing work today, I changed and went back to college. It was about 1.30pm by the time I reached. so I thought of giving her another 30 mins, just in case she was having her lunch or something. At this time, I am dead tired, having woken up at 5.15am to get ready for work, and I'm trying to keep myself alert for the presentation.

2pm. Okay...time to go up and meet her. Went up, gave her a call, and guess what she said? "I'm in a meeting now until 5pm." WTF.....

"So Miss, I'll meet you at 5pm?"
"But at 5pm I want to go home already."
BlardiHellWTFOMGDiu....."So.....meet on Monday...?"
"Okay, okay....meet on Monday....."

Babi...I came all the way to college just for the stupid presentation, and now you are telling me that you can't spare some time for me??? Then why in the first place do you tell students that they don't have to make appointment to see you, and that they can just come up at any time to present???!!! Waste my eff-ing time only! I could have just gone home straight from KL Sentral after my job! I could have been taking a much needed nap right now!!! As it is, I can't even go home right now coz it is raining damn heavily outside. So I have to wait until it stops, and by that time, I have to join the rest of the working crowd in the jam, on the stupid packed bus....!!!

ARGH!!! Damn eff-ing tulan!!!!

Algorithmics = despair and hopelessness

Freezing my ass off in the library. Despair, hopelessness and my black shawl shrouds me. I HATE ALGORITHMICS!!! Or maybe I wouldn't be having such a problem with it if the lecturer did her job right in the first place...! So right now the due date is in 2 days time and I have written zip, nada, zero....And I have to go home now or else I'll probably reach home at midnight (ahh...the joys of taking public transportation). Gonna waste so much time on that stupid bus where I can't get any work done. Seriously feeling like just abandoning this whole stupid project and crap out some rubbish to hand in, who cares if it's correct or not....

Gawd, I feel like bursting into tears....!

2008: 1st post

Ello people! After a nearly 6 month long hiatus, I'm finally back!!! Gosh, this would be like, my first post for the year 2008! Okie, so a few updates are in order....

First of all, we had some new additions to the family. Introducing....

Blue!!!

And why the name 'Blue'? Well, the kids wanted a blue dog, and since that is just naturally impossible, we named the puppy 'Blue' instead. BigSissy got her for Ty, sort of like a present to prepare him for another new addition...which brings me to.....

Kieran!!!

And last but not least, Lilian (don't have a picture of her though...)!!! She married my cousin, Hong.

Welcome to the family y'all!

Then there were the not so happy stuff. 2nd Kau Fu was admitted to the ICU in March. Apparently something went wrong with his biopsy earlier that week and there was sepsis in his blood. So I was spending practically everyday at the hospital, eating dinner at 10pm only... -_-'' There was a time when 2KF's condition took a turn for the worse and 4th Yee started crying. It was so scary and I felt so helpless. I couldn't imagine losing a loved one just like that. This was also probably not the best time to tell Mumi that I had been to the hospital and the doc said that my lupus was relapsing. It just made her go into overprotective-mum mode. *Sigh* Luckily, 2KF finally pulled through, so after the 5th day in ICU, he was transfered to a normal room. I am happy to report that he is up and about now!

This year is also the year I started taking public transportation to college. Actually, I'm practically taking public transportation everywhere I go....Quite a big improvement from the last time I took one (which was like ages ago) but still leaving a lot to be desired. I have to take like 2 different buses just to get to the LRT station where I take the college shuttle bus to college. Average travel time = 2 hours. And I'm at the mercy of the bus drivers who seem to only start moving the bus when they feel like it. Also, if you wait for a bus at Kl Sentral, you'll come across a few bas hantu. These buses drive by without turning on their signs so you don't even know what bus number it is. So tu lan! It's like they don't wanna pick anyone up from that stop. And I don't get why some bus drivers refuse to let you on the bus at KL Sentral. They will insist that you walk all the way to the monorail station there to wait for a bus. In the rain summore. Like, WTF! Why can't I just get on the bus at KL Sentral?! So pissed off...


Next on the list, I finally got my lappie!!! After nearly 2 years of talking bout getting one, I finally went and actually got one!!! And it's pink!!! Oooooo.....so purdy...! And now I'm officially in debt. o.O


I'm in my final year now and am getting bombarded with assignments, not to mention my final year project. So I definitely have to get a laptop if I'm to finish my work. At least I'll be able to get some work done during classes where the lecturer doesn't even know what she's teaching about and only knows how to read from slides. Seriously, she'll read the slides once, turn back to the students, repeat whatever the slides said again, then she'll try to explain what the slides said (which she basically repeats what the slides says, substituting a few words with her own...) ARGH!!! There's so much bout her that annoys me! I guess I'll just have to dedicate a post solely to her....


And talking bout assignments, I've been dating these 3 guys like, practically every night. Coffee, SorryWrongNumber and SingingMan. Mind you, we were rushing to complete our assignments. You should see us once the sun goes down. We're like crazy people with laptops in front of them in the Syndicate Room. De-stressing you know....


Oh, and it was during one of these groupie sessions that my bag got stolen. My Guess bag. From the library shelf. And the stupid CCTV is totally and utterly useless. Luckily, I took my phone and wallet out of the bag. But my house keys, thumb drive and Morgan sunglasses were gone with the bag. My new Morgan sunglasses, the ones that I've had for less than 6 months. The only time when I left it in my bag instead of taking it with me. *bash head against wall* And the stupid thing bout it is the response of the person in charge of the library when I told her of the theft. The first thing she said was "The library is not responsible for anything left on the shelves." Babi you...First of all, you don't allow us students to bring bags into the library and you don't provide lockers for us to keep our bags safe. Then you have the gall to try and shift the blame of yourself. And the shitty thing about it is she didn't even immediately call the security guards or even call the big guy in charge downstairs to inform them bout the theft. She had the audacity to tell me to tell them myself. Like, hello?! Aren't you in charge of the freaking library?! Isn't it your responsibility to report when something happens in your domain?! And that stupid CCTV is only for show. The tapes can only show you all of the cameras' feed on one screen. You can't even zoom in to view a particular camera's feed. And the picture is so blur and shaky that you can't even see anything properly! So all I saw from the tapes was some fella (looks like a Chinese) taking his sling bag from a shelf, take my bag from my shelf and stuff it into his bag. Then he put his bag back onto the shelf, went into the library to a table to get some papers or something, walk to the other end of the library to a bookshelf, then went to the bag shelves, took his bag and left the library. All this under 1 minute! So people, Don't Ever Leave Your Bags On APIIT Library's Shelf!!! Leave it with the librarians to jaga. I just found out you could do this after my bag was stolen. #@\%^^&&* They don't even tell you that you could do that. Who cares if their counter will be filled with bags, just make sure that your bags will be safe. If your bags still go missing after that, you can probably even sue them coz they were supposed to take care of your stuff. If I ever catch that asshole mofo bastard who stole my bag, I'm gonna chop off his hands and make him eat them!!! *insert evil laugh here*

So, I guess that's about it as far as updates go....Back to work now!

Back!!!

Just got back home at 1.30am yesterday. Unpacked, washed up and fnally went to bed at 2.30am. *snore* Practically slept the whole day away. Wake up, eat junk, watch tv, sleep, repeat. I think I was having withdrawal symptoms...bluerghhh...

Drove to college today. Had to reprogram my brain with Malaysian driving. Hands kept itching to press the horn every 10 seconds. Get your hands off that horn!!!

Damn, still feel so sluggish in class...jet lag can't last that long rite???? Must be all that bingeing last night.... x_x Luckily we just had a lab session and a tutorial. No brains required. We were free to do what we want. Thank god for little things.

Will be posting my travel journal for the next few days....if I can un-slug myself....*snore*

Emo, emo, emo...

Been staying up really late these few days weeks, all because of this stupid Taiwanese show on Astro AEC that I'm watching ('It Started With A Kiss', seriously not recommending this to anyone). Stupid, stupid show...the girl is so weird looking, the guy is not even that good looking, but somehow I just can't help myself! I'm a sucker for those 'girl meets guy, girl likes guy, guy sort of likes her but doesn't wanna show it' kinda shows. And I wasn't even planning to watch it! When you put a remote control in a bored TV addict's hands, shit happens.

And OMFG, the female lead character is so irritating. It's like she's so tak malu when it comes to chasing the guy. And her tactics not like to say works also. Makes her look so pathetic (cringe-in-mortification kind of pathetic)....The show airs at 9 pm but I usually have to catch the rerun at 2.30 am coz I'm watching my Chinese show on Wah Lai Toi at that time (can you say 'TV addict'???).

So now I'm going to classes looking like a zombie, hardly acknowledging anyone, and giving monosyllabic replies. Just excuse me when I'm emo-ing there by myself, it's nothing personal...Don't go and silently emo me back ya...
